Goyo from ChocQuibTown, an extraordinary and inspiring woman

The Latin Recording Academy has made a special recognition to the singer Goyo from ChocQuibTown.

Goyo, in addition to being a singer, is a psychologist and has been characterized by promote greater inclusion and equality for women and Afro-descendants.

The Latin Recording Academy through an official statement This is how he announced this new recognition.

“For the work of professional women within the arts and entertainment sector whose social conscience, as well as their contributions, have inspired the next generation of women.”

Currently Goyo is one of the most influential women in Latin Americaalso proudly represents the Afro-Colombian culture.

And he defends her tooth and nail, even has generated controversy on social media for seeking equality in our country.

The Latin Recording Academy also awarded Angela Martinez, lawyer of entertainment; Maria Elena Salinas, journalistpresenter and writer and to singer and actress Selena Gomez.
