computer operators:
Computer operators set up and clean all equipment used in data processing, maintain and monitor computer logs and reports, mount and unmount disks and tapes during processing, and position continuous forms for printing.
They also document daily activities, supplies used, and any abnormal conditions that occur.
The role of the operators is very important due to the great responsibility of operating the central processing unit and the associated peripheral equipment in the data center.
A computer operator requires technical skills for which there are two-year theoretical training programs, but practice and experience is usually what you need to get the job.
