Yogurt tiramisu with soft coffee cream: the easy spoon cake that I prepare every summer in 10 minutes to get rid of my sweet cravings

Although you know it well, it is worth remembering that tiramisu is a cold dessert of Italian origin with such a creamy textureThat makes it one of the recipes that we value most from that country. It has several layers with what is one of those very elegant and successful sweets with a most appetizing appearance. Sponge cake, mascarpone, coffee and cocoa are usually the main ingredients, although as is often the case with this type of recipe, there are multiple variations. One of them is the healthy tiramisu with oatmeal and yogurt.

Without going any further, today I bring you another one: tiramisu with soft coffee and yogurt cream that, as I tell you, once you make it once, you won’t be able to stop preparing it. At home they will ask you continually and it will make you look great when you have guests. Do you want to take the test?

Tiramisu with soft coffee cream and yogurt

I love homemade fruit ice cream, but that doesn’t mean that in summer I don’t also enjoy other cold desserts. This tiramisu is perfect to prepare in advance and keep it in the refrigerator for when you have that sweet craving. But since it doesn’t take long to prepare, you can also do it on the go.

Unlike the classic tiramisu that uses eggs, to prepare the cream for this version of tiramisu you only need whipped cream, Greek yogurt and two types of coffeeespresso and soluble. What do you get with this? A lighter cream that will make you enjoy this fabulous dessert even more.

At the base it has ladyfingers soaked in coffee so that they are more flavorful and tasty. You could also use one of the homemade sugar-free cakes that we have recently shared.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Greek yogurt
  • 250 g cold whipping cream
  • 60 g icing sugar
  • 200 g sponge cakes
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 1 cup of espresso coffee + 100 ml separately
  • cocoa powder

Preparation method

It is important that you use Greek yogurt, because it has a lot greater consistency than the normal one. You can prepare it in a large bowl or in individual glasses.

You can customize the tiramisu to your liking by adding vanilla or mint.

Here you have the step by step of this dessert that you can customize to your liking, for example by replacing the decaffeinated coffee If it suited you better, or children would take it.

  1. The first thing you have to make is the coffee to coat the cakes. Sweeten it slightly as you usually do.
  2. To prepare the cream, mix the instant coffee with the espresso. On the other hand, beat the cream with the sugar and then add the yogurt and the coffee mixture. As the idea is not to let the cream go down, mix it gently with enveloping movements.
  3. Immerse the soletillas in the coffee so that they absorb it but do not fall apart. Arrange them in a dish covering the base, add half of the cream, add another layer of soletillas and finish with the cream.
  4. Sprinkle with bitter cocoa and refrigerate. Ideally, you should leave it for about 3 hours, this gives time for the flavors to settle.
