Wyverns are huge winged reptiles of the dragon family.
Morphologically they are very similar to dragons except for their size, much smaller in the case of wyverns, and the fact that a wyvern only has hind legs. Intellectually they are quite inferior to their cousins, the great dragons, since they do not have the great intelligence of these. Nor is its flight as agile as a dragon’s, in fact, a wyvern cannot fly with a creature of considerable weight.
Physically they are reptiles with sharp teeth and grayish brown in color. They are about 6 meters long and have huge bat wings. Its tail has a stinger very similar to that of a scorpion and its eyes are deep red.
As hunters they are truly cunning. When they find a possible victim, they keep a watchful eye on her, preventing her shadow from falling on their prey. Finally they swoop in, in complete silence, so their victim doesn’t stand a chance. When there is little food, wyverns often form small groups to hunt.

If there is a confrontation with considerable enemies, the wyvern makes use of its sting quite skillfully. This stinger injects a poison that few victims manage to survive.
In general, wyverns are solitary beings and only live with their mates and their young. They make their lairs in the mountains, from where they dominate the nearby forests. Sometimes they collaborate with the evil dragons.
