Vintage style: how to create a tailored interior with inspiration

I began to share a friend and a friend of Krefeld about nine years ago.

How many people have lived here in total?

I think nine, including me. We were almost always in Krefeld. For a year I live here alone.

How has the department changed over time?

My colleagues had their own style in their rooms, of course. But the style that I had in my room is still recognizable. It was always a combination of modern and old elements, and I still follow this mixture of old and new.

Where did you buy your furniture?

Most of my furniture bought them in markets or classified ads. I think I don't have any furniture that costs more than 1,300 euros. I think it is good to demonstrate that you should not buy all the furniture by catalog, but that the objects are beautiful when they tell a story. Every furniture I have has a story, just like each room. For example, I always painted the walls when I had bad love (laughs). The kitchen was my first color project.

How do you face colors? Judging by the hall, you are very daring.

I think the colors They are very important. However, they have to fit with the architecture. When I think about it, I realize that maybe I had to know my department first to know what I needed. Over time, you develop a different relationship with colors and see how a room behaves with color. But, of course, a little value is needed to experiment with color. My friends have already commented on the roof of the hall that can no longer see it. But I do.

Verena's favorite picture hangs out of the wall: Fleck of Andrej Maxim Auch. Ikea's dresser is adorned with a Sigmar Willnauer lamp or Josef Frank's candlestick for Svenskt tenn from the 20s, chair: Wassily Kadinsky.
