Craig Hutchinson has adopted an approach to Contemporary designeven Minimalistcreating these spectacular volumes in dialogue with subtly reintroduced victory elements. Drapeated doors as secret passages remember the service halls of the Victorian houseswhile the minimal decoration of the walls is balanced with victory references evoked by painted lines – or talked in the main bathroom – and moldings and railings painted.
