Located on Macedonio Alcalá Street, the Oaxaca Contemporary Art Museum It was an initiative of artists such as Francisco Toledo, Rubén Leyva, Luis Zárate and José Villalobos, to exhibit the modern art of Oaxaca.

Rufino Tamayo Pre -Hispanic Art Museum
Finally, another of the unmissable museums in Oaxaca It is the Rufino Tamayo pre -Hispanic Art Museum, located on Morelos Avenue of the Historic Center.
This museum houses one of the great collections of the artist Rufino Tamayo, who thanks to the love he had for his homeland, presented more than 800 pieces of pre -Hispanic art that he collected throughout his life.
