The mysterious death of Antoine Saint-Exupery, author of The Little Prince

The mystery of what could happen to the writer during that mission was the reason for multiple theories for six decades, until in 1998, a fisherman found, southeast of Marseille, a silver bracelet recorded with the name Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Consuelo Suncín (wife of the writer); and the data of its publishing house in New York in which you first published The Little Prince.

The descendants of Saint-Exupéry refused to this version and the diver Luc Vanrell, which found the remains of a ship of the same model at the bottom of the sea, very close to where the bracelet had been found. However, in 2004, researchers from the Department of Underwater Archeology confirmed that the remains of the plane found were from the ship that piloted Saint-Exupéry.

About his childhood …

Antoine was born on June 29, 1900 in Lyon, France, was the third of five children of an aristocracy family; Although he lost his father at four years of age, he lived a happy childhood. His mother, a cultured and sensitive woman, deeply influenced the author's way of thinking throughout his life.

His interest in aviation aroused from a young age, at 12 he traveled for the first time by plane and from that moment he would not abandon her. In Paris the entrance contest was presented at the Naval School, but failed to enter and enrolled in Fine Arts. It was until his military service in the aviation that learned the pilot's trade, however, his girlfriend's family opposed the air army, so he dedicated himself to exercising various trades, while exploring the literary media.
