This is the Latest novel by the Colombian writer, Memories of my sad whores, where the story of an old man is told and his crush of a young teenager. The controversy occurred when several media began to point out similarities of the novel with The House of Sleeping Beauties, of Japanese Yasunari Kawabata, Nobel Prize 1968. The subject did not go far when intellectual companions defended him, claiming that it was a simple inspiration.
