«This 400 m² department bought an Egyptian businessman in New York when he was still under construction. He liked the idea of living in a new and 'fresh' skyscraper, and I could intervene both in the distribution and in the interior design,» Tarek continues. It has a private wing with four bedrooms – mainly with a suite bathroom and dressing room, and two children – and an ideal room both for fun as a family and to receive guests. «The client gave me Blanca Carta. I had a very clear idea of what he liked and what not, but he also listened to me, it was an open dialogue.» So Tarek Shamma does what he knows best, looking for the best design, of galleries but also of young talents, to give these rooms a unique flavor. In the center of the residence there is a dining table by Rick Owens, a limited edition of Alabastro and Black plywood. Suspended on top, a spectacular Spider lamp by Studio Drift adds an air of elegance to the dining room: «It gives a poetic touch to the rigor of the skyscraper,» says Shamma. With all these details, he made it The house of your dreams.

The New York atmosphere and luxury of Manhattan reverberan with pleasure in these rooms. Unique furniture pieces, limited editions and customary cabinetry are found throughout the department, reflecting Shamma's dedication to crafts. Materials such as walnut, oak and straw incrustations are perfectly combined with bronze, brass, leather and porcelain, creating a harmonious mixture of textures and tones. Unique pieces of lighting enhance the environment, from the aforementioned Spider lamp by Studio Drift to exquisite lighting works by Lindsey Adelman, for example. Shamma's design philosophy transforms large spaces into intimate and minimalist environmentsavoiding conventional aesthetics. Every detail, from porcelain to custom made furniture, reflects its dedication to creating warm and welcoming spaces. And, in response to the needs of the client, Shamma masterfully restructured the distribution of the department to accommodate areas destined for domestic staff and food service. A vital environment that points high, in all and with all the senses.
