Sylphs are delicate-looking and charming flying demihumans.

Physically, a sylph has the appearance of an elf or a human, very beautiful and with soft features. It has dragonfly wings and they are transparent or with iridescent spots. Her hair is long and the typical color of a human, although it can also be blue, green or purple.

They are neutral beings, with a friendly character. They keep the young aspect during all your life. They speak in a musical language, typical of magical beings such as goblins, dryads and nymphs, with whom they are related.

The sylphs live in the heights, either in the mountains or in the tops of large trees. They are rarely seen on solid ground. They build their individual nests on the slopes of mountains or carved into trees.

A sylph has the capacity to levitate innately. It’s agile flight is comparable to that of few other beings. It can fly and move freely, the wings only serve to gain momentum. However, this ability to levitate is magical in nature. They stop flying if a spell that nullifies magic is cast on them.

Sylphs have many other magical abilities such as making themselves visible or invisible at will and summoning elementals from the air.

They can have offspring with humans or elves. Once the sylph lays a single pearl egg, it summons an air elemental to protect and keep the egg warm until it hatches. The little sylphs look like a human girl, but with two little wings. These small sylphs can reach the agile flight of adult sylphs from the age of 10.
