From a small house with a single plant with a roof terrace in front of the beach, the architects of Alliot + Maudet created a paradise on Earth, blurring the boundaries between the day and night spaces of this beautiful department.

Inside, the volumes They intermingle in this beautiful life space that includes kitchen, dining room and room. The bedroom is treated as a modern canopy, lifted from the ground for reasons of height in relation to the old vessel room, which has a roof higher than the caretaker's accommodation. The architects used this limitation as a force to raise the night space without having to close it, creating a distance that transforms it into a cocoon thanks to the curtains.

It is a small and atypical space in Paris. Two lots separated with very low roofs, which the owner bought without having an idea of ​​what she would find above, just below the roof. By knocking up the partitions and the false roof, A space of a meter and a half high was exposed: «A inclined, beautiful and completely usable roof, on the fourth and last floor of this 1900 building,» says Pierre and François Voirin, the architects in charge of renewal.
