I had been living in London for 15 years, but I was looking for a new experience. I have always been attracted to the vitality of New York and it seemed like a great challenge to launch my brand there.»

Creative influences

«My design philosophy is enriched with endless inspiration, from the Art Decowith its geometric precision and its luxurious materials, to the dance and the constant change of the stations, with their games of lights and shadows. The constant search for a sense of calm reflects my interest in the art of meditation. In my designs, I try to create panoramas that gently lead the gaze from one point to another, as in a guided meditation, moving the mind of chaos. This Zen sense can be found in the Japanese designwhich is a particular source of creativity for me, despite being influenced by the Fine Arts and the History of Art. My interest in composition always leads me to question if each perspective is well framed; to see it as a snapshot or as a work of art. Working with this approach to balance and the form allows me to associate each project with a sense of calm. I think what you look affects what you feel. Where there is order, there is peace. «
