Reduce your estrogen in 3 steps

A correct diet is capable of achieving authentic hormonal modulation. Supporting balanced estrogen production and helping to eliminate hormonal waste is very easy by following these nutritional guidelines.

In this video we tell you how to take care of your liver to regulate estrogen:

1. Balances hormones

Aromatase is one of the enzymes responsible for the biosynthesis of estrogens. Its modulation is basic to regulate hormonal functioning. These foods will help us in the task, but let’s not forget to monitor their ecological quality.

  • Oatmeal. Its lignans inhibit the enzyme, protect against strong estrogens and are accompanied by iron.
  • Grenade. Its ellagic acid is transformed into urolithins, modulators of the enzyme.
  • Citrus. Its powerful modulating action is due to flavonoids.
  • Coles. They contain indole, which modulates estrogen metabolism.
  • Grape. Resveratrol, its great antioxidant, is an aromatase inhibitor.
  • Onions and garlic. They are abundant in quercetin, a great natural aromatase inhibitor.
  • Berries. They have inhibitors of this enzyme and help eliminate estrogen.
  • Olive oil. Enhances the positive effect of other enzyme inhibitors.
  • Seeds. Its phytosterols regulate cholesterol, the raw material for estrogen.

2. Strengthens the liver

It is the great purifier of the body. If it is helped, it eliminates excess estrogen better.

Don’t overload it and avoid or moderate the consumption of coffee, tobacco, additives or preservatives.

Choose organic foodssubstances that saturate the liver and alter hormones

to avoid

. You will also avoid the effects of pesticides, additives and hormones used in the animal industry and present especially in meat and dairy products.

Do small fasts. There are different types of fasting, such as limiting food intake for a period of time, or not eating for a few days or from the afternoon until breakfast. This type of fasting frees the liver and helps eliminate body fat.

Eat what helps you. A plant-based diet rich in salads, juices and smoothies is the best medicine for the liver. Drink vegetable smoothies about 20 minutes before breakfast. Choose acidic fruits, such as strawberries, plums, apples, pineapple and citrus fruits. Somewhat bitter vegetables are your allies: artichokes, radishes, celery, endives, watercress, parsley… Whole grains, unlike animal proteins, are a valuable nutrient that is easy to metabolize by the liver. Eat seeds and nuts. Use extra virgin olive oil, raw and in moderate doses. To drink with meals, it is best to use quality water or water with lemon juice.

Season your dishes. Turmeric, in infusion or as a spice, cleanses and supports the liver. Combine it with pepper and oil. Many other spices are hepatoprotective and easy to use: fennel, cinnamon, ginger, rosemary… Sprinkle your recipes with lecithins and brewer’s yeast.

Use infusions. To start the day or before dinner, infusions of boldo, milk thistle and dandelion, with a pinch of turmeric, are effective. The infusion of licorice alone or with hibiscus helps you after meals. Elderberry tea with burdock improves inflammation and is ideal after dinner.

3. Take care of your intestinal flora

Our diet must provide good bacteria for the intestine. A healthy intestinal flora and correct digestion contribute to our hormonal health.

The fiber protects. Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin are fibers present in many fruits and vegetables. They act as prebiotics, feeding the beneficial flora of the large intestine, especially bacteria. Bifidum. FOS help avoid colonization by candida and enhance immunity and hormonal balance.

More glucarate. Glucuronidase, a protein generated by certain bacteria when the flora is unbalanced, prevents the elimination of estrogens through the bile, which pass back into the blood. We can neutralize it with foods rich in glucarate such as onion, garlic, apple, cabbage and lettuce.

Take fermented ones. Miso, sauerkraut, cider vinegar, kombucha and other fermented foods are probiotics, that is, rich in live bacteria. These bacteria, especially L. acidophilus and B. bifidumalso neutralize glucuronidase, making them anti-estrogenic bacteria.

Avoid antibiotics. These drugs or products derived from animals treated with them alter the microbiota.
