Blessed are you, Saint Charbel, for in the remote village of your peaceful family and relatives you had a passion for prayer, virtue and piety when you were still a youth, Blessed are you, for the fact that you aimed at the monastic life , admitting the call of God with full freedom and therefore, you left your town Bakafra and never returned.
Blessed are you, for you dedicated your life to monastic vows and to the priesthood, participating daily in Mass and looking continually and tirelessly into the countenance of God!
