MISS UNIVERSE 2015: GLAMOR AND CONTROVERSY

Tuesday, December 22, 2015. The young women went to the round of questions, in which they highlighted current political, social and cultural events; thus reflecting the intelligence on the beauty of each of the five girls. The die was cast in selecting three finalists with the greatest chance of being the next Miss Universe 2015.

The final question: why should you be the next Miss Universe? The United States responded with feminism and empowerment; Colombia highlighted her abilities as a Latin woman; and the Philippines the responsibility of the Miss and the organization in favor of social struggles, added to their desire to help fight AIDS.

The last parade of the contestants was accompanied by the voice of Seal, then meeting the second runner-up: united statesgiving way to the most endearing moment of the contest. Miss Colombia was named beauty queen, skipping the order of the first runner-up.

Minutes later, the entertainer would accept his mistake and name Miss Filipina as the real winner. Quite an unfortunate fact for the two sovereigns, who had already accepted a reversed fate. Miss Philippines was crowned and the broadcast was canceled.
