An evolving space
«I like this house because it is constantly evolving. I almost never disregard anything, I prefer to add some elements to what there was before. Decoration is a mixture of what I was and what I am now,» summarizes the designer, who has a unique style of dressing. For herself, she prefers profiled volumes. He likes simple things in a detail that makes them special. With his line, known for his unexpected colors and his subtle details, he wants to create pieces that feel well once set.

«I knew I wanted a neutral atmosphere with one or two colors,» says Araks. «It's my way of dressing.» Apart from the bluish green sofa and bluish green spider lamps of the entrance, all other elements of the furniture are neutral. Libraries and works of art of the walls add color. The rooms are simple, monotonous, with touches of color. There are many white walls and some works of art. «My partner is an artist and we have many creative friends, with all the works of art we have a personal connection. There is also a quilt that I made with my designer friend Emily Kroll. It is the centerpiece of the room.»
The kitchen is the favorite space, where the family meets cordially. «Every night, dinner is the time of the day we are all together. I think a house must be functional and offer comfort. It should not be so precious and impeccable that you cannot live in it.»
