How to prepare your favorite Starbucks drinks at home

Nothing like a good homemade chai

Chai Latte

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons of concentrated chai tea
125 ml of milk
150 ml of water

In case of not having concentrated chai tea, you can prepare the mixture with:
½ cinnamon branch
1 cardamom pod (without seeds)
½ tablespoon black pepper
½ anise
½ teaspoon of ginger
½ teaspoon nutmeg
1 aromatic nail
3 gr. of black tea

Preparation:

– Boil the water in a pot. Once you start boiling, lower the heat and add the tea leaves and spices.
– Leave the mixture in the fire for 3 minutes taking care that it does not boil. Remove from time to time.
– In another bowl, put the milk and heat it without boiling.
– Pour the chai tea into individual cups, locking the preparation. Above pour 1/3 of hot milk cup and reserve part of the milk to vaporize.
– Once the milk is vaporized, pour the foam on top of each cup to finish the presentation.

Moka Cappuccino

Ingredients:

2 cups of casting coffee
¼ cup of cocoa powder
2 cups of milk from your preference (hot)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
Whipped cream (optional)
Sugar to taste

Preparation:

– Prepare coffee as you usually do normally and run it.
– Pass the coffee to a median pot and add the cocoa powder over medium heat.
– Mix with a wooden bucket and add the milk and cinnamon.
– Let heat at a low temperature of 4 to 5 minutes.
– Serve with sugar and whipped cream to taste.
