Three brick vaults rise in the style of a classic abandoned temple between the vegetation of Puerto hidden in Oaxaca. The brick's terracotta tone emphasizes the greatness of the jungle environment that surrounds it, which reminds of an abandoned classic temple.
Here, water is a primary element because each of the three structures that make up Volta house They are surrounded by a pond already only 100 meters away you can find the immensity of the sea.
The materiality of the house was determined by two factors, the Characteristics of the Oaxaqueña coast and the proximity of the Casa Wabi Foundation. Under a Simple construct methodthe lattices are of reed and allow the wind to flow freely through the house, the structure is of pigmented concrete in earth color and finally, the reuse brick was used in the vaults. This brick comes from the Casa Wabi Foundation where mud is baked and there was the availability to obtain many pieces of reuse brick.
