Flowers that need a lot of light and little water are the best to make the house more beautiful and cozy in the summer. “Lavender, for example, is a plant that develops better in sandy soils and requires a lot of light and water, at least once a week”, says the general director of Esalflores, Bruno José Esperança. If you live in a rainy region during the summer, take the opportunity to place these plants that like humidity a little in the rain – being careful not to soak them or leave them exposed to hailstorms.
Bruno also indicates the hyacinth, bromeliad and marigold as perfect flowers for the season — the latter, also known as carnation, likes plenty of sun and withstands high temperatures without needing much water. Lilies, like lilies, are found in different colors that can be combined with home decor. Bruno recommends that fans of these plants keep them in damp soil and out of direct sunlight.
One of the flowers that is famous for demanding attention is the orchid. During the summer, according to Bruno, it should be placed away from the sun, such as in a window facing south, where there is less incidence of light in the period.
