His interest and research was such that he came to give talks about vegetation, nature or landscaping within institutions such as the College of Architects of the State of Jalisco and various public universities. In addition, he co-founded in 1973 and presided over the Pro Habitat association, dedicated to the preservation of the environment and cultural heritage, from where he organized the annual forum The month of ecology.

Once the agreements have been made, The plants were transferred to Tapatías lands to be located within the greenhouse of the Mayor Park that had remained in disuse for decades.

The park was made by the Architect Alberto Arouesty Ibarrola in 1961. Within the greenhouse, two sections were enabled: the wet, on the west side, where they find tropical species of wet jungle, both from South America and Africa, in addition to interesting Mexican species. On the other side is a broader section, The arid zone, where cacti, succulent, semi -desert plants and some tempered climate are located of different territories of our country, but also African species with unusual appearance.
