Definition of CPS (cost per sale)

(Cost-per-sale or cost per sale). CPS is sometimes treated synonymously with PPS (pay per sale), although PPS refers to the type of payment system, while CPS refers more to the revenue share for a specific sale of a product.

For example, the CPS that an advertiser must pay the publisher for helping him sell a $100 product X is $20. The CPS is therefore $20.
