The archetype of the shaman

Its station is autumn, its lunar phase the waning moon. Time to collect the harvest, to start pruning, of decreasing light.

The shaman knows its shadow, it is guided by its intuition, it is free, warrior and healing.

Its phase of the menstrual cycle is the premenstrual: highly creative phase, connecting with our unconscious, with our wound and with our truth. The shaman knows how to weigh, she knows how to separate the grain from the straw.

She is persefone, Greek goddess who travels to the underworld and governs the unconscious, the world of dreams, of the invisible.

It is Kali, Hindu goddess of death and rebirth, protector of the space between worlds and incarnation of the female force, in its short destructive aspect and transforms the old and brings freedom and integration.

It is Medusa, that in its monstrous representation in Greek mythology invites us to look at the «terrible» in us and in others, to cross fear and to welcome the negative. In it we discovered the power of female mysteries.

It is Lilith, goddess of the Middle East, the first woman of creation according to some ancient Hebrew texts, which represents the woman not subjected and free female sexuality.

His rite of passage is menopause, passage to power and wisdom. Ancestrally women were only recognized as shamans after the transit of menopause.

It invites us to know and display in us the wild woman, buried for centuries and centuries, to access hidden treasures.
