Safely Collect Wild Plants

Collect only the parts of the plant you need and the right amount. It should not be noticed that you have passed by there. Avoid plants exposed to vehicle fumes or fumigation. The best time for most plants is when they have flowered.

The first time you go to the field to pick, do it with someone who knows and can teach you. If not, get one good plant guide. Avoid threatened plants.
