Magic correspondence

A witch cocktail cuisine is actually just a drinkable potion.

For this one, I chose the ingredients for their flavor, as well as for their magical correspondence with the spring station.

In particular, I stayed with Ostara and Beltane in mind. This serves very well during cakes and ritual beer, or simply to add a little character to your spring equinox meeting.

But spring weddings, hand weddings and bachelorers are also appropriate meetings for the purple fairy cocktail.

(And if you are a Christian witch practitioner you simply celebrate Easter as a cultural party, you may also like to serve it then).

Butterfly flowers

These magical flowers change color, from intense indigo to purple, when entering acids (such as the lemon juice of this recipe).

Its color change effect symbolizes transition, emergence and constant metamorphosis and fissures of life.

We include them here to infuse these qualities to our cocktail potion.

(Bonus? You can use the Peaflowers remains to make full moon milk).

Ginger

This warm and beautiful root spice is one of my favorites for cooking witch recipes.

The numerous metaphysical properties of ginger make it a versatile and comforting ingredient for spells.

Here, we use it for its healing vibrations to relieve and soften old wounds and renew ourselves for spring growth.

Soda Club

Who would say that soda also functions as a spelling ingredient?

The bubbly effervescence of the Soda club inspires new thoughts, new ideas and the ethereal and dreamy quality of the soda. Fairies.

Everything that brings good vibrations for spring.

Lemons

The fresh and vibrant flavor of lemon evokes the mottled rays of morning light on a cool day. March in the morning.

In addition to its ability to cut sweetness, lemons are also a classic ingredient of solar magic.

We include them in this recipe to dissipate winter darkness and give way to a sensation of lightness and luminosity.

Floral garrison

If there is something that symbolizes the spring station, they are the flowers!

You may be surprised to know that many flowers, including rapid and lavender, are edible.

I love to include edible flowers in my spring recipes. They give any dish or drink a female and dreamy touch.

MAIDAJES

This cocktail is especially pleasant with cakes and floral cookies.

Combine well with any of the following:

Moon Flower Cookies

Violet fairies

Cinnamon cookies and roses love spell

Lemon cakes

Some tips.

Small adjustments make or undo any recipe, so consider the following variations to bring this normal to lovely purple fairy cocktail.

Balance lemon with sugar

If you spend with the syrup, you will end up with a drink too sweet.

Although you like a sweet cocktail, start with little syrup, bite it to Sips and then add a little more until you get a proportion that you like. It can always be added, but not subtract.

If you notice that it has passed with the syrup, add more lemon juice.

Summer it all before adding the soda.

Cool vodka

Consider putting the vodka in the freezer 10 or 20 minutes before preparing it.

Stir the chemical reaction of the pea flower with lemon juice.

This adds another dimension of astonishment, because these psychedelic layers of blue and purple transition are obtained.

Choose the flowers.

In this case, use fresh flowers (not dry).

It gives you a surprise of just collected from the garden.

Be careful when buying them in the supermarket or collecting them from a garden that you have not cared for yourself.

If you buy them in a supermarket, make sure they have been cultivated ecologically and rinse them in the sink before using them. The pesticides used in the flowers are not subject to the same safety standards as those used in food.

Last, but not less important, ginger.

As tempting that seems, resist the temptation to replace the syrup with dry dusty ginger.

It makes the syrup become brown and fled the color, ruining all the shaban.

Ralle the ginger with a cheese grater or cut it into very thin slices before incorporating it into the syrup.

I like spicy, so let it stand for 3 to 5 minutes.

You can do more time, but lowering the fire and being careful that it does not boil too much water.

Ingredients

-1 cup of sugar

-1 water cup

-2 Dry flowers tablespoons

-1 tablespoon cool Grated ginger (do No ground or dry)

-4 ounces of vodka vodka

-1 whole lemon, cut into rooms

-1 Club Soda can

-(optional) Garrin of edible flowers

First step

Put the water and sugar in a small pot or saucepan.

Heat, be beating constantly until sugar dissolves.

Add grated fresh ginger. (Do not use ground ginger). The longer it will be restrained, the stronger the taste of ginger will be.

Add dry butterflies. The longer I soak them, the more intense the color will be. At this point, the color will seem more navy than purple. No problem.

Step 2

Pass the mixture through a mesh strainer to remove pieces.

Put the syrup in a clean glass jar and let it cool for 4 hours or all night.

Step 3

Uniformly distribute vodka vodka in 4 Martini glasses.

Add Ginger Syrupe. More for a sweeter cocktail, less for a drier cocktail.

Exprata lemon juice. The color will change from dark blue to violet.

Complete with soda and a floral ornament.

Serve and enjoy.

    • I would use SELTZ water with Lima. Sprite would do it very, very sweet. But if you like it, go ahead!

  8. Thanks for sharing this fun recipe. If I use honey as a substitute (1/2 cup for the sugar cup) that would cause a problem with the color?
