Prepare your Ostara altar.

In short, Ostara is a celebration of the regenerative power of life.

The main themes of this party are fertility, renewal and rebirth.

While winter is a time for reflection and deep contemplation, the spring equinox inspires us to focus on our creative spirit.

If we contemplate our successes and failures for too long and too depth, we begin to sink into the doubt and to paralyze on the compulsion of thinking too much our next steps.

During the Ostara station, try to let you carry and advance quickly. Nothing happens to give free rein to your last impulse to try something new even if you think it will not be well or make a trip to a new place even if you are nervous for the trip.

Ostara’s altar serves to remember that the beginnings are full of madness and that all success in life begins with a series of risks that sometimes succeed and not sometimes not.

Place objects that remind us of the fertility of creative energy and feel inspired!

Eggs.

Eggs are such an omnipresent symbol of equinox, it is almost too obvious to mention it … but also too obvious No mention!

Place them on their ostara altar and know all the ways of using them. Eggs in witchcraft.

Rabbit or hare symbols.

The rabbit or hare represents fertility, a key theme during the spring equinox.

This year, I have chosen to use the bunny card of the absolutely meticulous creation of Tarot Spiritsong. I love all the magnificent visual details of this deck, and the soft and beautiful colors are perfect for the occasion. Ostara!

But you can use ceramic bunnies from the second -hand store and paint them with spray, or even chocolate bunnies to save them and share them in the spring equinox.

Bird nests.

Nothing reminds me of the appearance of a new life like birds building nests to welcome their spring offspring.

No Ostara altar is complete without a few. You can do them yourself with garden remains or buy them in the craft store.

Moss.

Bright green and shadow tolerant, the moss is a lovely addition and live to its spring altar.

Anida eggs in the moss or add it to a fodder spring floral arrangement.

Use wood slices to expose special objects.

This is one of my favorite ideas this year.

Place special items in wood slices. Expose in them the porcelain eggs or the ceramic bunny of your grandmother to create a natural and freshly out of the forest.

Vintage garden books and tools.

There is something in the vintage garden books that takes the Martha Stewart that I carry inside.

Place them on the altar and leave them during your spare time to inspire you. Your Garden of Bruges.

Pastel candles with spring flowers.

Pale pink, yellow or blue candles with tender spring flowers are precious to ostar. Use the wild flowers that are usually started from the garden such as weeds or take a cheap bouquet from the gifrin store.

Classic spring art.

The art of spring theme with magical themes or ancient goddesses elevates your altar to something ethereal.

I love Botecelli’s Spring To Ostara.

But choose something that adapts to its artistic or mythological tastes.
