The new Yayoi Kusama Museum

The building, built by the architectural office of Kume Sekkei, It was planned as an interconnected tower that develop with the art presented. The rooms – less than 200 square meters each – were planned as limited and connected areas to offer a unique sensory experience. In this way, visitors can interact with the work in a more personal way and be part of the creative universe. To achieve this, a curved silhouette was chosen that, in addition to favoring the entry of natural light, allows viewers to discover the pieces under new perspectives and angles, and find details that they have not seen before.
