This loft type department is made for a quiet life

For the architect, a project must inspire, incite, complement and celebrate life. «It must express who we are and our relationship with the environment,» he explains about his design philosophy. Bond's team, under the direction of Rauchwerger, decided to expose the structure of the space to create an authentic atmosphere, a reflection of the industrial past of the building. Also in close collaboration with the decorator González, the team reformed the space and introduced new finishes, incorporating materials such as metal, glass, concrete and wood.

«The owners wanted to create a clean and elegant space, but at the same time comfortable and cozy,» adds the architect, stressing that the couple loves to receive guests and organize parties.

With terrible tones and organic but lush textures, the loft Of 1,800 m² it has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an office and a dressing room. The spacious open kitchen highlights the original black steel structure of the house. «We try to create elements of surprise by contrasting materials of materials,» explains the architect, «common spaces are brighter and more warm, while smaller private spaces, along with the dressing room and bathroom, are darker and rich in tones.»
