Already in the twentieth century, this building was used as a drawing school and, subsequently, as a film room thanks to its good acoustics. It was also occupied by the City Council and the municipality for diverse uses.
In 1972, the frescoes that remained as a legacy between Eras were restored, and the floor was revoked to adjust to the original architecture. The final restoration was carried out in 1975, when the government, through Fonatur, decided that the property would work again, this time to house the Camino Real hotel that, in 2012, changed its name to Quinta Real.

The hotel currently has 91 suites surrounded by gardens overlooking the picturesque streets of Oaxaca. The quality of the service is unique, since the mission of its workers is to make you feel at home and offer an experience that makes Oaxaca never escape your heart.
