Muac, the first Museum of Contemporary Art in Mexico City

The main materials used in the construction of the museum were white and gray concrete, steel, glass and aluminum, the central part being the great glazed porch with 45 ° inclination, which announces the modernity of the project and contrasts with the other buildings of the 1970s of the 1970s of the 1970s of the 1970s of the 1970s of the 1970s of the 1970s of the 1970s of the 1970s of the 1970 Cultural Center.

The large white concrete cubes censed are the spine of the entire project, together with the square that articulates access to the museum and the concert hall.

As for the interior of the museum, this is made up of wide spaces, which allow the free and fluid route in the exhibition halls found at the same level, articulated by large corridors and divided by small minimalist courtyards.

Another essential element of the museum is the natural lighting that the rooms receive, filtered by a ceiling that transforms it into an enveloping light and shadowless, and has operable curtains that allow the space to be dark if it is required.
