5. Throw the flower stem leaves
If you still don't have a large garden, but you started the year with a disposition to have at least one glass with water and flowers coloring the environment. A trick that can help you last all week is to take, carefully, the leaves that remain in the stem of the flower, just before they are sunk in the water. In general, that foliage lasts less than flowers, leaving the cloudy water and reducing the duration of your arrangement.

6. Choose your plants well
If you are going to start (or renew) your garden or vegetable collection. It is worth thinking well what the chosen plants will be. There are species that are much better with the heat than others and that can make all the difference. A good idea, for example, are butterfly orchids. Other interesting options are bromelia, quite resistant by nature, and some succulent, which are true fans of the sun. The same applies if your space is not very bright, investigate the plants that accommodate this type of conditions.
