The style Mid-Century It emerged in the middle of the century, diluted by contemporary and eclectic influences to introduce the elegance (never ostentatious) of the mansions of the last century at home. This style radiates an aristocratic elegance composed of precious and refined materials. From the aesthetics of the 50s and 60s, which integrates balanced and refined stylistic influences and some seventies references, the spaces must be designed to be cozy. The era of ostentatious opulence and redundancy is over; After years of excesses, it returns to true elegance. Therefore, the choice of furniture inevitably falls on pieces with a high formal value.
Materials to reproduce the style Mid-Century
You have to measure yourself even with colors: it is always better to bet on the white or neutral tones that become timeless If they combine with a touch of brass chosen in its matte and green forest version. For this we are inspired by the photo with the Platium table of Oscar and Gabriele Buratti for Gallotti & Radion in the center. We start from the target on the walls and the roof to propose Spaghetti of Salvatori, which in its white Carrara offers an elegant and unusual texture, capable of illuminating the space and entering the natural game of lights and shadows that creates its surface. We have combined it with the artisanal satin brass of De Castelli, which can be used both indoors and outdoors, and with the parquet of the Blasone collection of Federico Peri for Giacobazzi, reminiscent of the great historical mansions. The tiles, which measure 58 x 35 cm, are characterized by their rhombus form in two contrasted woods that combined create an interesting decoration. And finally, we have selected Rubelli's Spritz velvet in pure cotton with a special printing process that consists of a calibrated overlap of color tones. The result is a very special velvet with an almost old touch.
Between icons and appointments, the choice of furniture

As many of the designs signed by him, this collection has a strong link with his hometown: Milan. The collection consists of armchairs and sofas of two, three and four seats, compact dimensions and enveloping lines. As is tradition, the collection is available in the emblematic wool fabric in the colors selected by Caccia Dominioni, or alternatively in the elegant Kasia or Koto skins.
