Turquoise tones raise the design of this country house

He trusted the renewal works to the architect Michelangelo Chiti, but the rest did it, following the impulse of Create the perfect place for her and her family. He turned the plant, but the most important thing is that the unattractive exterior coating was replaced by reused bricks, a fairly typical construction method of the buildings of this coastal region in those decades.

A fascinating touch of color against the brick wall of the terrace is the radiant «A'Mare» seats in turquoise color, by Jacopo Foggini for Edra. The bricks are recovered; Wicker baskets provide the mediterranean local color.

Contemporary furniture mixed with pieces Vintage

The center of the living area is the sofa «on the rocks» by Francesco Binfaré for Edra, actually a vital landscape. «From there, for example, You can hear the crepit of the fire in the open fireplacewhich is located on a wall of ocher tiles in Vierti. At the same time, the wide island of being has channeled the choice of other furniture: if they are not Vintagealmost all come from the Tuscan design brand Edra. In the dining room, for example, the chairs «Gilda B.» Jacopo Foggini gathers around a round table that Sajiz found in an antiquarian of the nearby Lucca. «Edra's furniture harmonizes very well with the objects loaded with history, but they also need the right environment. And that is exactly what is here at home,» he explains.

A Turquoise Mayolic Tile pool

Regional references hide everywhere. The walls of the kitchen, for example, are covered to the ceiling with marble slabs of the Altissimo quarries; The elements of the walls made of bamboo remember the cabins of the beach of Forte Dei Marmi, the narrow road of the garden of the «Petra» winery of Mario Botta. And the garden itself! In it, the swirl coated with Bright Turquoise Mayolic Tiles attracts attention as to indicate that the Liguria Sea roars beyond the pines. The locks, the chairs and the table of the exterior collection are perfectly coordinated with the beautiful color of the pool. Its polycarbonate struts seem as if Jacopo Foggini's design had been assembled with ice water.
