The 1980s were marked in part by the personal difficulties of the British singer, while at the same time his success was in full apogee with iconic songs such as «Blue Eyes», «Sad Songs (say so a lot)» and «I'm Still Standing». This decade also witnessed Elton John's commitment in the fight against AIDS, with its participation in the Live Aid charity concert.
