To have flowers at home is a great decoration option, as they make environments lighter and more pleasant for both residents and visitors. With that in mind, biologist Maer José da Silva, who works for the GetNinjas, the largest application for contracting services in Latin America, selected five species that bloom in season, are easy to grow and will make your home more colorful, fragrant and cheerful. Check it out below:
phalaenopsis orchid
The flower is a great option for those who like color. There are purple, yellow and red options, in different shades. Its natural habitat is tropical forests, where it intertwines itself with roots to hide from the sun. Due to this, it is a great option for closed spaces. Place it in a space where sunlight is indirect and whose temperature varies between 20 °C and 24 °C.
Chamomile
It’s a great option for those who want to leave the house fragrant. Small in size, it has white petals with a yellow core, similar to a daisy, and blooms in the warm seasons of the year, such as spring. Leave it in places in the house with average temperatures, around 20°C, and preferably in spaces where the air is more humid.
Lavender
Another example of the perfect flower for those who want to perfume the atmosphere of the house. With long stems and similar to round bushes, if well cared for it lasts up to 3 years. Leave it in places in the house where there is exposure to the sun for more than 4 hours.
Sunflower
The sunflower got its name because it is a plant that turns towards the sun. Its height can reach a meter high and, living up to its name, it is a plant that loves sunlight. The ideal temperature is between 20 °C and 26 °C and a great decoration option is to leave it on the balcony at home.
