Achieve a restful sleep with this ritual for protection
Spiritual warfare is a daytime thing. But at times you may have felt as if you released it at night – actually during sleep.
Without a doubt, we all have this feeling from time to time. It is possible that you have had «nightmares». You may have woken up with the feeling of a presence. Perhaps you have encountered shadows. You may have heard a knock on the wall. Negative thoughts can enter your head.
Says an author named Alisha Anderson, “It’s important to make sure they’re protected. I cannot stress enough how important this is. Once again, if you are conducting spiritual warfare you should say protective prayers over yourself and your family before going to sleep.
Make sure you cover up after talking to people on the phone, before going to bed, saying prayers that will stop the enemy’s acts and all the stones in your path that can be counterproductive.
Praying before bed is of obvious importance. During sleep we are in a «Twilight» state, during which the mind travels beyond the physical. Sometimes, it feels like a special time of communion – as if it needs to be refreshed by the spirit of the soul, since the body is at rest and is also refreshed.
If we are having recurring dreams that are unpleasant, or you wake up anxious too often, you can put into practice the following ritual for protection during sleep.
You will need the following items for this ritual:
1 tablespoon lemon juice (or other fruit juice)
1 tablespoon sea salt
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 lightweight cauldron (a glass container works as well)
1 sheet of paper
2 black or red candles (1 of each works best)
1 feather
This ritual serves to protect you from your biggest fears when you are dreaming.
Procedure:
First of all mix the lemon juice, sea salt and oil in your cauldron. Place the cauldron in front of you on the ground. Sit comfortably and place the candles next to the cauldron (the red candle on the left, and the black candle on the right).
Then you need to tear the piece of paper in half and keep it in reserve.
I light both candles, starting with the one to your left. Now close your eyes and visualize a sphere. Imagine yourself trapped inside, trying to get out of the center of the sphere.
Watch as the black and red candles burn around you. Imagine that the sails are spinning around you, faster and faster. Then visualize yourself being magically released.
Next, on the sheet of paper, draw a picture of what you saw. On the other piece, write down your greatest fear. Then burn the two pieces of paper in the light of the candles, using the black candle for the written fear, and the red one for what you saw.
Now you need to throw them into your cauldron. Take the cauldron and throw it out (paper and all) into a hole in the ground. Cover the hole with soil. The spell is already done.
