It’s been a few years since I had plants at home it has become a strong behavioral trend. And it’s no wonder: they bring a lot well-being for our day to day. But to ensure that they are always beautiful and healthy, you need to dedicate time to some care. So we’ve listed some tips that can help you without requiring much effort. See below!
1. Spray water regularly
Many plants like moisture. Not only on the roots, but also on the leaves. The best option is to do this with a spray from a distance, ensuring all the leaves get some water. This tip does not apply to succulent plants. Succulents originate from arid regions, so they need less water than others.
2. Vases
As much as plants and soil need moisture, they cannot “drown” in water. For this, it is important that the pots have holes in the bottom so that the excess can be drained. Another important point is the type of soil, which can vary according to the plant. Generally, the packages are identified for which plant species the soil is suitable.
3. Color change
If the tips of the leaves turn brown, it means that your plant needs more water. If the soil is too dry, water the plant more often. If it turns yellowish, it can be excess waterin this case there are two options: you are watering more than you need or you need to change the land.
4. Make a watering schedule
This is perhaps the most important point, after all, too much or too little water can be very harmful to the plant. Therefore, our suggestion is to create a timeline to ensure that the plant receives the right amount at the right time. Pay attention to the types of plants: tropical plants need water once a week (regularly water the leaves), while succulent plants are watered once every two weeks.
5. Cleaning
If the dust accumulates on the leaves, the plant may not be able to breathe. Therefore, it is important to keep the leaves clean. It’s best to do this with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, but a damp piece of paper will also work. You need to do this with a little more attention, as all the leaves need to be clean.
