Shipment

Deliveries are made domestically (with the exception of the German islands) and to Austria. Due to the complex packaging involved in shipping live animals, an additional packaging fee of €4.90 will be charged up to an order value of €50. If live animals and accessories or plants are ordered together, both shipping costs are charged once, since accessories can usually not be sent with Live Animal Express. Pick-up is also possible, no additional costs will be charged.

When purchasing live animals, a delivery date must be selected during the purchase process in order to complete the purchase process. Shipping is organized individually to ensure that the animals arrive on your desired date. The selectable delivery date is between a minimum of 3 working days and a maximum of 14 working days in the future. There is generally no delivery on weekends, public holidays, the following day and Mondays. In the case of accessories and general goods, the goods are delivered within 3 to 5 working days in Germany and within 5 to 7 working days for deliveries abroad after conclusion of the contract.

Since the transport of live animals is subject to special requirements, it may only be carried out by a certified Live Animal Express (Fishtopia works exclusively with Jungle Express here). Delivery within Germany is between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., delivery abroad is always between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
