Mollys are hardy and easy to care for. They are perfect for aquarium beginners. They like warm water that keeps the temperature constant. Amano shrimp are transparent invertebrates. They can grow up to 7 cm long and are therefore about twice the size of the well-known dwarf shrimp. Amanos are undemanding shrimp and very easy to keep. Since Amano shrimp like to live in company, they should be kept in groups of at least five, preferably ten. They like to crawl through mosses, eat plant debris and clean the soil.
