Why is it that saying «I love you» is so complicated for everyone? No one wants to commit to a word that has so much meaning, we want to hear it and they would never want to use it.
How do you know when it’s the right time to do it? Or worse, how do we react if the answer is not what we expect, the truth is that hardly anyone knows when to do it.
Since every relationship is unique and different, we can’t answer these questions, but if you want to know more or less how long people wait to express their love in this way, science does have an answer.
According to a survey conducted by the site MattressOnlinemen are more than twice as likely as women to say «love you» after only knowing someone for a week.
Nevertheless, most men (29%) and women (33%) respondents said they would say those two words sometime between the first and third month of their relationship.
Overall, the survey results just showed that the timing of this varies a lot, depending on the person.

So the most sensible answer to this is to say it when you feel ready and more importantly, when you really feel it.
