- 1 liter of milk
- 400 grams of milk cream
- 200 grams of condensed milk
- 200 grams of arequipe
- Five tablespoons of cornstarch
- A spoonful of vanilla essence
- Ducal type sweet cookies
- chocolate or milo
Step 1. Dissolve
Take the milk and pour it into a pot over medium heat. Add a pinch of salt, the vanilla essence and stir. Now, add the cream of milk, the condensed milk and the arequipe, stirring very well while it is on the fire. At this point, dissolve the cornstarch in a cup of milk until there are no lumps left. Before the milk boils with the scrambled sweet ingredients, pour over the mixture you just made the milk and cornstarch, stirring constantly to integrate everything. Let it boil until it thickens a lot, remove from the heat and allow it to rest for about 10 minutes.
Step 2. Assemble
In a refractory, build a layer below with the ducal cookies and pour part of the cream you made in the previous step on top. Repeat this same action until you run out of all the ingredients. Now, decorate the top with the chocolate powder or the milo, sprinkling it over the dessert with the help of a strainer.
Step 3. Refrigerate
Take the refractory to the fridge and leave it there for 5 hours for the dessert to set. After this time it will be ready to serve it and share it with the family. Bon Appetite.
