  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Four branches of long onion
  • Half a cup of cheese (your choice)
  • 150 gr of milk cream
  • Salt
  • Cumin
  • Pepper


Step 1. Cook

The first thing you should do is partially peel the potatoes (chalequearlas, which is called in many places). That is, it leaves some parts with shell. Now, heat enough salted water in a pot and place the potatoes there to cook them with the lid on. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Cut the onion lengthwise and then cut it into slices. Cut the tomato into squares.

Step 2. Saute

Put a splash of oil in a pan and let it heat. Once it has taken temperature, add the garlic, onion and tomato there to allow this stew to sauté. It is time to apply salt, pepper and cumin to taste to the sauce. Check if the potatoes are already soft and if they are, turn them off but keep them covered so they don’t get cold. Returning to the stew, add the milk cream little by little (the amount you like) and stir. Add the cheese to the stew and mix very well so that all the ingredients are integrated. Ready, it will be time to serve the potatoes and pour this spectacular stew over them.
