Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked black beans or packaged refried beans
  • Tortillas for burritos (make sure they are XXL OR XL)
  • 1 pound mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup of shelled corn
  • 1/4 of big onion finely chopped
  • Tomato sauce (it doesn’t matter if it’s from a bottle or package)
  • A small cup of Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • a chopped lettuce
  • Two finely chopped tomatoes
  • Sour cream
  • Avocado chopped into pieces (as much as you want)
  • pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • oil of your choice

Preparation of the burrito recipe

Step 1. Saute

Put a large skillet with a splash of oil over medium heat. Once it is hot, add the chopped onion to it and lower the heat a little and then pour the ground meat, until the latter cooks perfectly. Now put the beans, the corn and mix all the ingredients so that they are integrated, allowing them to cook for about 3 minutes.

Step 2. Season

It is time to add salt and pepper to your mixture to taste. Lastly, pour in the tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce, making sure to stir thoroughly so that they are integrated into the complete mixture. Let it cook for about 5 minutes, turning eventually, cover the pan and turn off the heat. At this point it should look like some sort of sauce.

Step 3. Heat

Now, in another skillet over medium-low heat, put the tortillas one by one so that they heat up. Be careful to put them just a few seconds on each side (some tortillas puff up so don’t be scared) so they don’t burn.

Step 4. Assemble

Add the sauce you made, on top of each tortilla. Put on top of the sauce a layer of chopped lettuce, another of chopped tomato and pieces of avocado. Finally bathe with sour-cream being careful not to wet the tortilla too much so that it does not break and add the mozarella cheese to taste.
