Ingredients

  • 150 ml of milk
  • a teaspoon of sugar
  • 25 grams of fresh yeast
  • 425 grams of flour
  • 75 grams of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 grams of butter
  • Salt
  • 50 grams of additional white sugar
  • 50 grams of brown sugar
  • A teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa

Preparation

Step 1. Make dough

The first thing is to activate the yeast a little. Take the milk, add a teaspoon of sugar and yeast to it. Stir very well and allow it to sit for at least 5 minutes. In a bowl put the flour, the 75 grams of sugar and the milk with the activated yeast and knead very well with your fingers. Add two eggs, 50 grams of butter and a pinch of salt. Once you have a homogeneous dough, take it out and put it on a floured table, finish kneading. Put this dough in a floured bowl and cover it with transparent paper, allowing it to rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2. Make stuffing

In a bowl, add the 50 grams of white sugar with the 50 grams of brown sugar, the cocoa and the cinnamon powder, stir all these ingredients.

Step 3. Fill

Put the dough on a floured table and stretch it with a rolling pin trying to make it somewhat rectangular. Once you have achieved it, brush with butter and add the filling you made in the previous step, but leaving the edges without butter or filling. Now, brush this edge that you left free with cold water so that when you roll it adheres and does not open when baking. Begin to roll up firmly but without squeezing until completely closed. Cut with a knife or spatula into even slices and take them to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. Ready, as soon as they come out of the oven it will be time to eat them and share them.
