Astronomical calendar: this is what will happen in the cosmos in 2019

astronomical calendar 2019

Looking at the universe is, in some way, looking at ourselves. Because we really are stardust: we also come from there. And that is why we are fascinated by observing the celestial vault. We are anthropocosmic beings.

Fortunately, we can refresh our connection to the universe every year by witnessing its astronomical phenomena. In 2018 we were able to observe some of the most portentous events, like the longest eclipse of the century –which was also a blood moon–, or the rain of geminid stars with which we bid farewell to the year and that it was painted sky blue.

This 2019, our galaxy will continue to delight us with five eclipses, a super wolf blood moondozens of meteor showers and the visit of some planets that will be seen more clearly than ever.

Let yourself be enchanted by the stars this 2019

Here we leave you this astronomical calendar for you to consult each month. In this way you can better plan your cosmic sightings, and even receive each event with a small ritual of reconnection or meditative reflection.
